All tailights are interchangeable and will fit each year/model Camaro between 93-02.

they will fit, you'll just have to do a lil bit of dremeling or sanding on 2 of the bulb holes in the back of the housings to make the bulb fit in correctly. i changed mine from 99 to 94 and i had to do a bit of sanding, no problem though

Nice to see someone swap the LT1 style on. I WAY prefer them over LS1 style

It's been years since I've thought about it, but when I had my Camaro I swapped out the 1995 lights for the 1998+.
The fit is a direct replacement. However, I remember it taking a little bit of wiring to seperate the turn signal bulb. It required running an extra wire from the dash.

Yeah, but I have LS1 taillights and still look at LS1 taillights as they fade away in the night.

To light up correctly, don't you need to change out the pigtain to the taillights? I know the LS running light only lights up on the corner.

I've been wanting to go th LT1 tails because my car is red and that amber part on my lights annoy me. The thing I don't like about LT1 tails are the reflective-ish horizontal stripes.

Re: 98 Z Tail lights in 95 Z ?

Bringing this old thread back up, does anybody have any images, when doing this swap? Specifically which wire to cut/splice under the dash?
