Yes it bolts on with no mods, but you do have to do a little creative wiring to make the LED taillight work properly.

I didn't have a problem with the wiring on mine.I did have to sand a lot on the wing and hatch to get it to line up better.Other than that it's a simple bolt in and go.

does it just bolt right on? The instructions that came with my new SS spoiler said stuff about drilling (I think mainly for the two wings that come down on each side of the brake light).

I have a question tho...how did you wire up the LCD? I just dont understand where it comes from or how you get the wires up from inside of the car into the spoiler, out the small hole....

When you buy it,they will be a piece of thin aluminum wire that will run through the path that the wiring for the brake light needs to go.You attach your wires(use tape or something) to one end and pull it through the holes. And there ya go wiring is run for the led.
For the drilling part,It is talking about the actual mounting of the led to the spoiler. There are two or three screws that hold it securely in place.
Other than that there are just four bolts that will come through the deck and into the bottom of the spoiler to secure it to the car, there is no drilling here.Just simply screwing the supplied bolts into the four holes on the underside of the spoiler.

where is the aluminum piece for the wiring? I looked at my spolier and couldnt find it. What i did find were 5 holes...4 with threads to bolt the spoiler down with and then another one that was a little larger (I am assuming for the LED??) my light is only attached by adhesive, is this right?

What company did you buy the spoiler from???Adhesive?Mine was two or three screws. And you would see the aluminum wire sticking through the two holes.Mine was a good foot or so out on both ends.

Well if im thinking what your talking about the larger hole is where the actual wires for the LED third brake light come out of the wing and go into the rear hatch of the car. I recently got the Wings West wing and it had the metal wire going through where the third brake light attaches to the larger diameter hole which when on the car will come through on the drivers side. This metal wire as already mentioned is there for when you pull the brake light wire through. If there is no wire then unless you can come up with a very creative way I dont think you could get that wire through. Its too long of a distance and too thin inside to use any sorta tools. For installing you should not have to drill any holes whatsoever. I think in the directions they are generally speaking because most aftermarket wings you need to drill new holes for cars that didnt already have a stock wing. Hope this helps you.
And please let us know how the Spoilerdepot wing is. I have seen them on ebay but never actually heard of anyone getting them and there results. Keep us posted.
P.S. my LED light was screwed in using 3 screws. I cant imagine there being no screws holding it in.

i have a question too about the west wings ss spoiler, the middle supports do they just hang freely or can you drill a hole from underneath and bolt them up so they dont move around?

here is the deal on the spolier depot SS spolier from ebay: supposedly there is a tube the directs the wiring from the 3rd brake light to the hole to be spliced into the stock wiring, Im going to try it out when I get home to see if this is correct. If so I would give spoiler depot

Well, spoilerdepot generally requires you to drill in order to install their spoilers. I confirmed this twice when I saw how cheap they were selling them (no wonder they are soo cheap).

The above posts are mainly referring to SS spoilers from Wings West and ASCD. Spoilers from them require no drilling and simply bolt up to the car using the existing mounting locations. You may want to double check with spoiler depot to make sure if drilling is required - which I am pretty sure it is.

The two support pieces should touch the deck if the spoiler is installed and fits correctly
