Your car doesnt' have an ls1 so it'd be kind of misleading and dumb.

KillerTA, how is it misleading and dumb? i like the look of the ls1's front end, so i'm putting one on my car. i hit a deer so i can put any front end i want on it and since i can do that, i'm putting a ls1's on it. now, what parts will i need to do this?

Antz97ZNJ, i'm also doing some performance mods this winter, but i'm getting the entire car repainted and a new front end.

My 97 Z28, yes, camaros are fast, but i have a trans am, and they are fast too...but i want it faster

so, has anybody done this conversion (i hear of a lot of people doing it with camaros, but i'm not sure if all the parts bolt up the same on camaros compared to trans ams). i'm pretty sure i need a new hood, bumper, headlight assemblies, and i think the fenders. do i also need anything under the hood like the k-member or anything? i want to make sure i know everything i need before i start it.

Im pretty sure this is an exterior thing. No k member, etc needs to be swapped out.

i hope i don't have to swap out too much cause i'm getting really excited about doing it. i was thinking about selling my car in a few years and buying a newer one (i like lt1's better, but i like the exterior look of the ls1's better), but now that insurance is paying for it all, i'll just get what i want...i was hoping i could find somebody that's done it to see how everything lines up and what all i need. everybody that did it with camaros said it just lined right up and worked perfectly...i hope it's the same with trans ams.

you need the following, and I don't think I am forgetting anything....

-hood
-headlights and housing
-both fenders
-front bumper cover
-front bumper
-fog lights (maybe yours will work if they are any good)
-bumper support???

Thats most of it....

I know someone and its all exterior. Lights, hood and bumper. I can get you the headlights for 160each shipped. Brand new with bulbs. There are other options like the halo lights for about 175 each.
