98 + camaro hood to front bumper gap

i am looking to buy a 2000 camar z28. i noticed there is a slight gap between the hood and the front bumper. i just wasn't sure how much of a gap was supposed to be there?

Theres a fairly big gap in my '99. Either the older ones have saggy front bumpers, or all the LS1s have a bit of a gap. Carfax it to make sure it hasn't been in a wreck.

Yeah I know what you mean, my old Jeep came back clean when I bought it, then somehow managed to "find" some more wrecks done by the previous owner come time to sell. Its better than nothing, though. How much of a cap are we talking about?

i only have pictures and none of them are close-ups. it looks like maybe 1/4 of an inch. however, it looks like it stays the same gap all the way through. i just didn't know if they came with a gap there or not...
