98-02 SS spoiler on a 94...

i hadnt really thought about this before... but is there anything you have to do to make it work? i know as far as bolting it up goes that it works but what about the LED brake light? do i have to change anything for it to work on a 94? and i think i read somethin about having to use a relay so that u can still use cruise because of the lower amount of power drawn by the LEDs or somethin.. anyone know what im talkin about here?

Yes you have to wire up a relay to make the LED work with your cruise. When i wired up my relay my cruise would only work about 10% of the time so i had to order a different cruise control module. GM had a Tech bulletin about stock cruise modules being too sensitive so i ordered the new less sensitive one. Now my cruise works flawlessly.

Werd, maybe that's what I need... mine works some of the time but other times I'll literally be driving on the freeway with cruise on, then it just turns off. Kinda sucks when you're on the freeway, relaxing with your legs away from the pedals, then all the sudden cruise control stops and you start losing speed kinda rapidly lol.

Do a search under my name in the general tech section. I posted the part number of the new module. I kind of actually have to apply decent pedal presure to make my kick off.

Although the SS spoiler would look good, I think you will be happier with the headers.

Re: 98-02 SS spoiler on a 94...

yeah that was the main thing in my choice, ive been wantin to do headers for ages but everytime i get the money up somethin happens so it kinda shot me down on em for awhile... but man.. im already half there with the true dual exhaust... headers would be icing on the cake and besides stock manifolds + duals.. = bad has a very pulsy sound to it.. almost.. harley davidson like at midthrottle, sounds scary wot though if i knew how to get a sound clip ild post one up... ah well need to find me someone with a digital camrecorder around here lol. if i managed to find an insane deal on a spoiler ild get it... but for now its back to headers, besides paints already on the car so its not like im in a hurry to find one anymore *shrug*... only thing i dread is re-doing the front half of the exhuast to fit the headers lol (exhaust shop is gonna love me when i come in with headers.... and say re-do the front half.. took us about a week to find an exhuast leak at the front before annyyyway i got way off topic on my own topic.. thats bad! thanks again for the help everyone!
