98-02 Firebird Ram Air hoods

I'm wanting to purchase a ram air hood for my 96 formula that I recently did an ls1 front end conversion on. The front end is not painted yet but will be shortly. I was looking around and have decided on either an RKSport ram air hood or a Suncoast hood.

RKSport: http://www.lmperformance.com/5007/15.html
Suncoast: http://www.lmperformance.com/870/15.html

Question is how is the fitment of each? If the RKSport has decent fitment I'll go with that. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You can find an OEM on ls1tech.com and ebay all the time. That would better then an aftermarket one.

Thanks for the advice. I was wondering if that would be a better idea. Is the fitment of the aftermarket hoods that bad? How about this hood by SLP? http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=100075 I would assume that their stuff would fit well since they do the firehawk stuff but I don't want to find out the hard way.

Thanks,
Colin

I put a suncoast raptor hood on my 02 T/A and it fit great. I would highly recommend them. But, OEM is always better if you can get a good deal on them. Happy shopping.
