98-02 Body Kit

I currently own a 96 Camaro. The bumpers are visibly beat up. Ever since I've had the car, I've wanted to do the front end conversion, while at the same time putting a body kit on the car. I'm curious whether I could kill two birds with one stone by buying a full body kit for a 98-02 camaro. I would still need to find the 98-02 hood and headlights, which are things I'd need to do either way. Does anyone see any other problems with this potential project I'm looking to do? From what I read in the tutorial, it seems like just unhook and hook for the most part. Should I assume the same with the body kits? Has anyone done this before? All feedback is appreciated.

You'll need the front bumper and fenders from a 98-02 as well. By the time you spend all that money, you could have just gotten your front end repainted a couple times over.

Right, but I prefer the front end of the 98-02 style, and was considering a body kit anyways, which comes with front and rear bumper covers and sideskirts. The current bumper has a crack down the left side headlight area. I'm ganna get the kit, hood and fenders. Pictures to come.

You could do a front bumper, hood and fenders from us, then all you'd need is lights.

heres a funyn question, why not just buy a 98+ camaro? price difference between trade in of your 96 and whatever model you fidn will probably cover the extra body kit and parts.
