I have a 97 Formula WS6, I was wondering if all the WS6 hoods had such low engine clearence? I allso have a 96 Camaro RS, and the hood opens up really high, giving me alot of room to work. Does the WS6 hood normally have that much room to work with? Or is it normally cramped?

 

There should be no difference between the two.

 

Mine opens up pretty good. Maybe something wrong with those two things that hold up the hood.

 

Mine opens really wide... I'd say your hood struts are shot...
