Not a 93 - 97. It's a 98 - 02 hood.

Looks good, Did you have any issues with the hood install? like alignment issues or did you have it done by an autobody shop?

Yes I did have an issue. I even had my friend that works in a body shop help me adjust it and there seems to be no way to get the front left side to not stick up just enough for it to be noticeable. I have grown to just accept it especially since I love the SS hood a 1000 times better than the stock hood.

There's been many arguments that a CAI or LS1 lid conversion will net more power than the stock SS style ram air on LT1's. What's you reason for wanting a factory ram air setup?

For factory, you can get a stock 96-97 SS hood and stock 96-97 SS airbox setup.

For aftermarket, Suncoast creations sells both the hood and the airbox kit.

I just figured if im gonna get the SS hood for my 94 I might as well make it functional. Plus not trying to bust anyones ***** but I am not a big fan of putting a different hood/scoop on a car and it not be functional. I know it doesnt add alot of horsepower, but I just think it looks better when you pop the hood and someone is like oh its fully functional. yes yes it is.
