Guys and Gals,

I've just started tearing the front cone off my 87 IROC to repair it (the hood didn't fit with the front clip) -- This is the result of an old front end collision. The plastic cone is messed up.. ....

My question is:

Is the front cone the same for all 87 Camaros? (Except for the IROC ground effects?) in fact from 87-89? what years are the same?

My ground effects are in GREAT SHAPE, but the cone above it is trashed out (warped and messed up bad).

Can I just run out to a local junkyard and buy a front cone from a regular camaro and stick my ground effects on it??

Um, hello? Anybody here?

I have taken the IROC trim off and now it looks like there MIGHT be a similiarity between the 2, but it isn't clear. It MIGHT be that the regular camaros have 1 set of ground effects and the IROC another.

thoughts?
