I saw this one someones car a few days ago, sorry if im stealing your idea but i really loved it haha.. anyways, i was thikning abotu putting the 1969 z/28 fender emblem on the dash of my 96 camaro.. here is a link to the badge http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-...95953483QQrdZ1 i was wondering if anyone thought this was wrong because its a classic and mine isnt.. or should i just go with a vinyl sticker that says Z28 in the 93-02 lettering...

I have them on my 95Z....I don't think anyone will be fooled and think that your 96 is a 69

I like the idea of keeping the camaro heritage alive and kicking.

You'll have to make a few minor modification such as bending to fit the contour of your dash and removal of the mounting studs on the emblem....nothing major.

Yea that's no big deal lots of people use vintage badges. I used one on my Berger panel.

I'm running them on my car. I have some pics in my sig. I'll get some better ones when i get a chance to clean my car. I lowered it and did some other mods and i can't even take pics because every damn day we get some rain, because of the storms blowing up from the gulf.

Check the classic style of mine in my car domain in my sig (scroll down a bit to see the flag eblems too). Nothing wrong with it at all, go for it.

I've seen a couple of 4th gen Camaros around here that have replaced their badges with the 69 style. They look pretty good and are definitely eye-catching.

Eh, I really don't care for the old-school emblems on 4th gens......at least I wouldn't do it to mine....but if you're into that sort of thing, go for it.

I probably would put one on my dash though...

Where did you get those flag emblems? I was thinking about going with Z06 emblems and do the flags on the drivers side of the berger panel. Back on topic, I want to see how this turns out because I had the exact same idea the other day. I think it'll look badass, the only downside I can see is a possible weapon if I got in a car accident.

Claude, Can you tell me how you did the emblem swap? I think it looks badass! How did you get the original badges off, and how did you apply the classic ones? Also, your brake calipers are sweet. Where did you get the camaro logo for them, and did you paint them yourself? What kind of paint, and was it difficult/time consuming? Thanks man! Midnight is the ****!

I used dental floss and worked it between the badge and the car. It takes a little work, but it comes off. To remove the remaining tape on the car, I used bug and tar remover. For the new badge, I used 3M emblem tape, you can pick it up at Sears Hardware.
