6-speed shifting pattern?

I found a great deal on a 98+ console out of a 3.8 liter with the 5-speed. But I however have a 6-speed so does anyone one know where to get the 6-speed shifting pattern emblem for the dash or are you not suppose to switch those?

Re: 6-speed shifting pattern?

If i remember correctly, the 97+ console has the shift pattern painted on, where as the 93-96 Camaro has an emblem. The emblem maybe the same size and you might be able to remove and glue the emblem on top of the 5 spd pattern, either that or just paint over the 5 spd pattern. You can change out the center insert of the 5spd for one with a 6spd.

It looks like its painted. I really don't want to jack with it and have mine come off or something.

Good luck with that. I hope Brent can make you one. He told me he can't do real small things.

I think he'll be able to do it. He made me a tiny RS emblem for my gauges.

I hope he can that'd be great, but i asked him to make me a decal that said OPEN and one that said Close for my cutout and i wanted them in about #12-14 Font and he said thats too small for him to make them. I think the numbers can't be that much bigger than that as the little square on the console is very small. I hope i'm wrong.

Re: 6-speed shifting pattern?

Yeah, this would be too small for cut vinyl. Would require a machine that can cut and print. Might get one next year but don't have one at the moment
