Hi,

I'm considering changing the stock fog bulbs with some yellows.
As you probably already know, the LT1 camaro uses a 50W #885 bulb.

Has anybody tried a 55 watt rating bulb inside the stock housings?

I can get the following from ebay, but they are rated at 55W:

Can I safely fit those without changing anything else?

If anybody has done this yellow fog mod before please share some pics

 

Only .4 amps difference (4.58 V 4.16) between the two ratings. Can't imagine that this would be a problem.
