i have a 94 Z-28 and im about to have the front bumper repainted.
my question is around the lights where it is blacked out, is it suppose to be a flat black or a glossy black ?

i only ask because we have two 94 Z-28's here one has a clear coat over the black around the lights and the other is a flat black and im just wondering how they came from the factory?

As far as I know they all came flat black.

 

I believe they came with flat black but when I repainted my several front ends, I have it changed to gloss

 

rolls out the factory with FLAT BLACK around the headlights and grille.

 

Same here. I think it looks better gloss.

 

Came factory flat black but painting it gloss looks 100x better I also like the center peice where the bowtie sits painted in (I have pics of my car if your curious how these look. Black)
