What seats could fit and look good that are black to go into my 75 LT?

Measure front to back bolt to bolt. Side to side bolt to bolt on your car and I'll let you know if 4th gen seats fit

I wouldn't go with seats from a 3rd or 4th Gen. They are really a weak point in f-bodies. There are many many more comfortable and supportive seats out there that don't cost much. Chevy's seat designs are pretty pitiful. Not much better than the 70's and 80's. The firebbird is marginally better, but not when compared to others.

 

If you were to put 3rd or 4th gen seats in a 2nd gen car you would have to drill new holes for the seats. they do not fit. My brother in law put a set of 3rd gen seats in his 73 & he had to drill.

Now Putting 3rd/4th gen seats in a newer s-10 pick up are direct bolt ins.

 

Talos from the PNW forum put 4th gen seats in his 2nd gen 78-79 i think. try PM'ing him

 

If I were to put any seats in a second-gen, I would do like I did for my '84. I would find some 1994 Firebird Formula seats in grey cloth. Here's what they look like in my third-gen.
