3rd gen front clip question

I have a 87 Z28, the guy who put the car together that I bought it from put a berlinetta front clip on it..the original was falling apart. Personally i just totally dislike is and want to find an original front clip for it. the question is what is different on each? Could I just find a new front bumper and the front air dam or are the quarter panels and hood different too?

all the 3rd gens will be identical. the only problem you may have would be the top of the front end (kindda in the engine bay) where some of the camaro induction, mainly the tpi, sits. other than that maybe a few missing screws to hold the gfx on

I think you could put a firebird front clip on it if you wanted...

I think it all just bolts up

Techincally the 3rd Gen. doesn't have a front clip. A front clip are the two fenders, the rad. support and bumpers, etc. that bolt, as a unit, to the subframe on 2dn Gens.
The 3rd Gen. being a unibody only has the two fenders and bumper cover/support that are individually bolted to the front unibody. There is a cross member but no subframe. The Berlinetta fenders are the same. Only the front bumper and ground f/x's are different. Shouldn't be to hard to find peices at a junk yard.
