Post 315/35/17's on 9.5" 10 spoke SS rims with Eibach Pro kit springs???

Will 315/35/17's fit on the rear of my 95 Z28 on a 9.5" wide 2002 SS rim? Will there be any fitment problems? (rubbing?). I would run stock size 275/40/17's on the front...

Thinking about possbily lowering my car also. (Eibach Pro kit?)

What do you guys think? I need opinions.

Thanks
Steve

No way! Dont even think about it man. You will need 11" wide rims in the back to fit 315.

First, your SS rims are 9" not 9.5.
Second, the minimun rim for a 315 should be a 10"... although I've seen them on 9.5s... it doesnt look too nice though.
Third, even if you did find a tire guy who had no concern for liability and actually did manage to squeeze the 315 on your 9" rim... it's so pinched down that you're not even getting 315 MMs to the pavement. On the 315s I've seen on 9.5 inch rims... the tire was so pinched in that at least a centimeter or two on each side wasn't even touching the ground. Just do the 275s and be done with it.

Or get bigger rims.

Thanks for the info Whistler. I have not yet purchased the rims. I was misinformed about the rim size, I thought they were 9.5"s. I do like the 10 spoke style and kinda want to put the widest tire I could on it. Looks like I'll probably be sticking with 275/40/17's all the way around. I do NOT want ANY problems, especially safety concerns.
