3-gauge pillar pod ???

Need some info on the 3-gauge pillar pods that are sold at thunderracing(or others that people have tried). I am looking to get a 3-gauge for the drivers side and either a 2-gauge or 3-gauge for the passengers side. My question is that the pillar pod states that the hole is 2-1/16" in diameter. I am going to flush mount my tweeters in the bottom holes of each of them drivers and passengers. The dimensions needed for the tweeters is 2-3/16" in diameter. Is there a lip on the pillars that can be ground down to get the extra 2/16" that I need --- or will I be able to force the tweeter brackets into the original holes with a little bit of work. I will be using the others holes in the pillars for aftermarket gauges. Also where and what color paint did you guys get to paint the pillars with so that they matched your interior (charcoal gray) perfectly??? Thanks for the info!!
