285-40-17

Hello all can someone tell me if 285 40 17 will fit on a 17x9 rim?
And will it fit all the way around? or just the rear?
Thanks

It'll fit but it wouldn't look right. The sidewalls will look too tall and it'll throw off your odometer/speedo.

IMO anything over a 275 on a 9.5" wheels is too much...275 seem perfect to me!

I have 315's on the rear and I love em. Don't care what anyone says they look awesome. Plus if you pull to close to a curb it gets the tire, not the rim. 285s would look good too. The wider the better

285's will fit on the 9" and even better on the 9.5". As far as the speedo being off. You have a tire thats roughly 25.97" tall rather that 25.66" tall.
Half an inch won't through it off.
