Why do you want 35 series tires ? You will just have more wheel gap, and a harsher ride, and less protection for your rims....

I wouldn't go with 35 series except on 19"s

How wide are the rims ?

They're 18s.. and i'm gonna drop it 2", it should eliminate most wheel gap right? but if i go with the 245/40/18, will that be an alright size you think?

I meant what is the actual width of the rim 18 x 8 ? 18 x 9 ?

No, Dropping it 2" will only eliminate the wheel gap ON THE TOP ! You will still have ugly wheel gap on the left and right of the wheel, because our cars can easily fit 20's.

That is one of the reasons I would recommend 40 series minimum (for a daily driver) on 18's.

Check page 2 of my sig. I have alot of photos showing my 40 series tires. I can't imagine driving on 35 or 30 series tires... it would be a harsh ride especially on a lowered car.

A 245 will look silly on a 9.5 inch wheel. The tire will be way smaller than the wheel. Get the 275s for sure.

Will 245's even fit a 9.5 inch wheels? My 275's on my 9.5 wheels fit pretty much flush with the wheel. I cant imagine what they would look like on that width.
