2000 SS differences compared to 00 Z28

i seen a 2000 SS for sale and i really want it but i noticed that the camaro logo above the heat/ac controls were different,,,the asr and fog light switches were on the left side instead of the right side like my 00 Z28 is this normal for the ss 00 model???? not to mention its overpriced at 12,700 (83,000 miles) but i havent been alble to find one until now any suggestions or comments would be helpful in any way,,

p.s. i would be trading my current 00 z28 for it,,mileage stands at 81,000

There is really no difference between the ss and the z28 except some suspension and thats it. you would be better off making yours lookg like an ss if that is what you are interested in.

Yea, I would just keep your car. Too many miles and too much money on that SS.

You can get different plates that go where the Camaro is at, and you can move around the switches and the plate, so that doesnt matter at all. If you didnt have a Camaro, I would say definetely go for it, but you already have a 2000 Z28, which is the same thing except for a few minor things, like hood, spoiler, and wheels, maybe suspension if they opted for it on the order sheet.

Had an SS 'vert. Don't swap; hood, spoiler, and MAYBE wheels only sure difference, might not even have better suspension, and at that mileage, needs fresh shocks at least anyway.

Mod yours. Koni SA or DA shocks, usual mods like lid, long tubes, cutout; later hydraulics and drill mod if you have a stick, gears, and you'll handle better AND be quicker and faster than the SS is, as well as KNOWING all the problems to expect by virtue of having your car a while already.
