1LE foglight delete Question

When you put them in do you have to remove the fog light bracket? If you could also post a link to how to remove them
that would be great...

Thanks
Archie

I suppose you could just remove the fog lights, but removing the brackets too would make it look much better. The bracket is just held on with two bolts, so it is simple to remove. The covers just have two screws that go in at an angle from the front, they are self tapping. That's all there is too them. If I had a digi cam here I'd take a pic for you, but just trust me, it is a breeze...and go ahead and remove the brackets for a cleaner look.

Yea I plan on removing the brackets and setting a set of aftermarket fogs behind the inserts so you cant see the
fog lights untill they are turned on so its gonna look really
I think

You don't have to remove the brackets in order to mount the 1LE inserts.

Does anyone have a pic of the bracket by itself off the car so I can get an idea of where the bolts are

I know this...You will have to cut out the shape of the aftermarket fog's you plan on putting on in the metal that the stock brackets mount too. There is no way to mount to that and still have enough room for the 1LE covers. I made me some Z06 style covers that mounted flush with the line that runs around the opening and mounted some aftermarket fog's behind them. VERY NICE! Just expect more work with the 1LE's.

Here's you a pic to see about where the screws go (the little silver dots=screws - I am photshop king LOL). This isn't my car...it is a dark pic, but you get the idea...those screws go in from the front. Maybe that will help.

URGH! Sometimes it'll let me remote link, sometimes it won't...
Anyone know where I can get a place to post pics only with remote linking...I have enough websites...LOL...

I'll e-mail it to you at the address below your post - if this link doesn't work for you. (may have to refresh after it loads???) or this link. (I am trying to find ways to remote link).

BTW - P/N's = 10182057 and 10182056.
