i have the ss hood on my z28 and i dont know if the guy didnt put it on right or what but on the driver side front it kinda sticks up a little bit.. kind of annoying but i dont know how to fix it.. anyone have any ideas? could take a pic n post it if needed or if anyone wants one

If you have a Z, I'd go for one of three hoods: harwood cowl, harwood cowl with mail slot, or ultra Z hood. Check these guys out too http://www.suncoastramairhoods.com/

just a question... how do the ss style hoods work in teh rain??? wouldnt it go through the hole straight into the air filter??? with my luck it would do that AND leak right on the floptyspark

I'm an SS hood fan. The cowl hoods to me just don't look good. I did buy an aftermarket SS hood and have the same problem that some of you were talking about where the drivers side sticks up a little, just enough to bug you. Oh well...

Im a fan of the ss hood. i got mine from rksport. i cant post pics while im at work but i do have some posted in my album.

Well I finally got a ss hood on it.it looks pretty nice. Y'all can check em out on my profile.did the stripes my self. Get looks everywhere I go.yeeeaaahhh!! Bay bidneszz

I have the Harwood Cowl induction hood. I chose it for 2 reasons: 1. everyone and their brother has/had and SS hood. 2. It was a quality hood from Harwood and I bought it through a local speed shop. So if it didn't fit or was cracked or something, I didn't have to pay a cent for it.
