Basically I have seen a set of wheels I really like but the large ones ( 17x10 / 18x10 ) wont mount up right they have a -12 offset. I knew they would stick out, but was not sure How much?

The wheels are ENKEI sst1 5 star, deep polished lip, but have a funny piece on the wheel that connects to the wheel support and spoke.
the sst2 are polished and are just a 5 spoke , no funny piece on the wheel towards the bottom of it. It's hard to describe , they are sharp wheels though.

anyways the 17x8 and 18x8 are a +12 or +13 offset.
Now since they are two inches smaller in width this would effect the sticking out somewhat I assume, but having a small + offset they still stick out.

How much do you think these would stick out? The shop doesnt have any in stock so we can't ' dry fit ' them to see... he has the bigger ones , they look real good on the fbody but stick way too out, kind of looks like a 4wd vehicle heh.

Those would stick out about 1 inch in the front, and about 1/2 inch in the back.

Yes those are the enkei SST2's
They look like junk on that pic, but in person and on fbodys they look real sharp.
Yeah the 18x10's stuck out too much.
Dam wish it were the other way around being 1/2" in front and 1" in back...
Well I'll see if it looks terrible, I'll see if he can order some and we can try them on the car. If not i'll be using my ARE wheels. I know those fit, I tried them on a few weeks back when rotating the wheels/tires.
