How well will some 18 " corvette wheels fit on the rear of an LT1 convertible ?

I also heard that you get wheel-hop sometimes with 18's ...anyone else have this problem ?

What is the best sticky, California summer tire for these wheels?

I have Y2K vette rims on my car and they rubbed. You will have to bang the inner fender wall in and also add an adjustable panhard rod to make them fit right.

You are gonna use 18's for track tires ?
