15" rims in back

Okay guys. I had 18" z06 rims. They looked good, but they just didnt do it for me. So i sold them and now im thinking about something else. Heres what im thinking. 15x10 rims in the back. Then stick the widest tire i could put on it. On the front im thinking 18x8 or something around there. Or neven a 18x7. Could i posably put a 15" rim in the back without modding anything? or are the brakes to big? I have seen picks camaros with something sort of like this. And they look cool as heck. I just wondered what it took to get this.

What you can put on the back depends on the year of your car. You can get 15x9.75" Bogarts that will fit 4th Gens with no problems. You can get Weld Pro-Stars of Draglites that require grinding the rear brake calipers, and longer wheel studs.... depends what you want to do. There are inexpensive CenterLine Tel-Stars that requike no work.

You might want to just borrow a 15" rim and put it on the car with the 18's, to see if there is even a remote chance that it would look decent.

Just get some weld prostars 16x8 rear 15x 3.5 front
bigger wheels on the front than the rears are gonna look really really bad

i agree with everyone else, it will look horable. You get me a picture of your car with the 18s on it and ill photochop a 15 inch wheel on the back for you to see how it looks if you want. But i dont think it will look good at ALL

wow. thanks for the replys. I dont have pics of the car, due to the fact that im dumb when it comes to computers. Its a patriot red 96z, with a 4inch glasstech cowl hood.

This was just something I was sorta kicking around. Now that im thinking about it, maby you guys are right.

The only setup that looks good with differnt sized rims on the car are 18s in back 17s in front. When I got my C5 rims in the fronts didnt have tires so I just put my back ones on. I got tires for the front two the next day. So for one day my car had 2 18s and 2 16s. Not only did it look bad b/c they were different rims but the size difference was overwhelming. let alone a 15 and an 18 especially with the smaller one in back.

I can't help but picturing you car looking like the Joe Dirt mobile.

Only thing worse than that would be the Joe Dirt mobile going in reverse.

Hmm. I think i might take a crack at this photo shop stuff and see what this would look like. I think done right it might look okay. I think it might not look bad with 26" tires in back. But i do see what you guys are saying. All else fails ill just get 16s on all four corners.
