I bought a new white/blk stripes and a "vinyl top" on 1971 Z28 what amount of 71 Z's came with the vinyl

 

According to the "Camaro White Book", Option C08 - Vinyl Roof Cover ($89.55) was installed on 38,329 Camaros in 1971. Total production was 114,630. That means about 1/3 of total production had the vinyl roof. Does not show the breakdown by other options like Z28 (4,862 made).

If you simply took the same percentage of Z28's as having the vinyl roof, that would mean about 1,625 Z28's with a vinyl roof. But I suspect that very few people who were interested in the Z28 performance option would be interested in an appearance item like a vinyl roof.
