Yes, it's a Xenon and what you mentioned right there is one of the reasons why i got rid of it.

No, it is not lowered... YET!!! Just looking for the best springs. I want only like a 3/4 inch drop though which may prove difficult.

Personally, I'd avoid lowering if you're getting gfx. These cars already scrape bad enough when they are lowered WITHOUT an extra 1 to 3 inches all around.

Yep pretty much, in the 4th gen world you can either a) install ground effects or b) lower it. If you try both a and b you'll suffer the consequences

We got hung up in the bank drive through in the '02 because it's lowered about 1.5" with the optional bilstein suspension from SLP (which happens to lower the rear considerably more than the front oddly enough). One of the exhaust clamps got stuck on the decline going out of the drive through. It was kind of embarrassing because I had to get out of the passenger side window, see what was stuck, and coax my mom into slowly scraping all the way down.

Need to see about our mechanic possibly rotating that clamp if it's even possible...

The lowered Camaros sure look good, but it sure does affect their driveability.

Get yourself a set of these:

You can position them anyway you like and you'll never have to worry about scraping or exhaust leak again I bought mine from Napa.

I'll have to consider that johnny6 if the SLP clamp won't move. It looks about like that.

Im talking about the vert. it is just about perfect the stance is right and everything similar to what I wanna do. I just need to know if hes thrashed it around yet on a road course or autox....that is the biggest thing I plan on racing as often as possible I like the GFX look but it seems troublesome with the lowering and suspension mods.

I quess this depends on what you mean by "troublesome"? I've never tracked a car that wasn't lowered. Many of them had FX or side pipes, etc. which are sometimes a pain on the street, but so is my larger airdam. Just learn to live with it.
