IBM Thinkpad 600
Should be perfect for tuning or other General internet mayhem
System Specs:
IBM Thinkpad 600
Pentium II 266Mhz Processor
160 Megs of Ram (upgraded from 32 megs)
13.3" TFT LCD screen
DVD Drive (I think I have a CD-Rom drive around here too)
External Floppy Drive
BRAND NEW Battery That I Purchased last week. Holds greater than 90% charge. (Even new/never been used, its still old.)
AC Power inverter
BRAND NEW 20 Gig Toshiba 4200RPM Hard Drive installed (Factory was 3 Gig).
Windows XP Media Center Edition Updated to Service Pack 2.
Laptop has 1 USB 1.1 port, 1 Serial Port, 1 Keyboard/Mouse port, Audio Jacks for headset & Mic, 2 PCMCIA ports. I have 2 PCMCIA cards that I use with each port- 1 is an Ethernet card for plugging into Broadband and the other card is a PCMCIA card with 2 USB2.0, 1 FFirewire port, and 1 other port that I don't recognize. Both of these cards will be included with the laptop upon request.
I'm asking $250 FIRM for the laptop. Shipping would be extra.
Laptop is guaranteed to work, It will not be DOA. I'll be sad to see this little guy go, I've used it for a long time and it has served me well.
I have this listed on another board, I want it sold ASAP so contact me immediately if you are even at all interested. I want to flip this for another laptop that a friend is selling to me cheaper than he should be.

Re: IBM Thinkpad 600
Chris, for the time being I am taking it off the market, I was under the impression that the hardware wasn't up to snuff for my purposes but its come to my attention that all I needed was a faster external hard drive. I will be testing that out tomorrow and I will let you know if its still going to be for sale.
