Time to rebuild my LT1. But after adding up the cost for a good LT1 short block rebuild, I've seriously started looking at the aluminum ZL402 short block as a option along with different heads of course.

I know if I go that route, I'll need to change the computer and harness etc. Anyone had any experience in retrofitting the new PCM to the earlier 4th gens?

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
