Why Canton pans for LT1s?

I've read so many complaints about the fit and quality of Canton pans, why do they seem to be used on stroked LT1s so frequently? Won't Moroso 20205 or Milodon 30909 work on LT1s?

I've got the Milodon 30909 on my race car and it works fine. However my race car has a BMR tubular k-member. I don't know how it would work with the stock k-member.

Stock oil filter location worked fine on my setup. Am I missing something here. I had no problems with the canton.
