Bret and Lloyd can get you there.

I ran my stock short block to a 7,000 shift point for 20k miles. LE heads made another 50RWHP over my un-ported stock heads.

IF you want to play there be prepared is the best advise I can give

I like the idea of making the most power with the least amount of rpm. Spinning a motor high, just to spin it to the moon, is the quickest way to broken parts. Rule of thumb, RPM stands for "Ruins Peoples Motors".

Yeah Morels, steel valves, Ti retainers. teh best rocker studs, the best 5/16 or 3/8 pushrods. Basically don't skimp.

I appreciate everyone's help. I probably wont be turning the motor any higher than 6500.
