Ive used the eagle SIR rods a few times in street performance, limited drag use and they held up just fine, I used them in my 93 (6 inch ) in a 355 and they held up fine for 7 years to my mean driving style (mean to the car that is). I recently rebuilt the motor and the rods looked new. I'm usung 5.7 SIR eagles in my 383 in my 97 right now.

btw so you dont buy and find out later you have to have the weight knocked off the flywheel and have the assembly nuetral balenced most likley about $200-$450 depends on the shop that does it.
