Angry Torque Arm Conversion! HALP!

Im doing the 3.4 to Carb swap in my 95, and I know I need the BMR transmission convertor bracket, but then I noticed I need a new torque arm (ala third gen ) So I browsed to it and it's 550.00 friggen dollars, because it's designed for drag racing!! I do not want/ want to spend 550$ on something that is basically overkill. I do not drag race or any kind of race!! Anybody know where I can get just a NORMAL torque arm conversion for my 95?? Again, Jesus! 550$

Can we assume you are talking about their TH400 conversion tranny cross-member - the one that requires you to remove the stock TA from the tailshaft of the tranny? And what is the reference to "ala third gen"?

If so, and you don't plan to go racing, why are you pricing out BMR's $550 "Xtreme Duty" unit intended for 9-second cars? They offer the "Trak Pak" for $330 which would be more than adequate for your purposes. Spohn also makes a TA for around $350 that will handle just about anything you could throw at it, under 1,000HP. And the design is simple enough that you could probably fab one up for about 1/2 of that.

B&m has a kit that makes the stock torque arm work in a car with a th400/350 which ever. Might be an option.

trany mount is easy to fab up
