Post are there any aftermarket LT1 blocks?

I'm wondering if there are any aftermarket LT1 blocks, or if aftermarket Gen I blocks can be made to accept an Optispark type ignition and the reverse flow cooled pattern?

to answer both questions........no.
There isnt enough demand for a stronger aftermarket LT1 block, and the fact that the Lt1 block is fairly strong. Many people are making 600+hp with stock lt1 blocks, and a few have hit the 1khp mark.
Aftermarket gen1 sbc's cant accept opti's (different casting on the front of the block) and im not sure on the cooling thing.

GM stopped using the reverse flowed cooling pattern due to "hot spots" in the heads.
