teeth getting sheared off my reluctor wheel???

Alright here's the deal, I'm on my 3rd rearend right now soon to be 4th. I have 3 channel abs so my reluctor wheel is right along side my ring gear and right before all of my rear ends have blown out the abs inop light comes on. After my first rear end went out i looked and noticed about 10-12 or so teeth were sheared off and discovered that that was the cause of the abs inop. On my 2nd rear same thing the abs inop light came on and several hard launches later the posi went out, open it up and the same thing teeth were sheared. Now on my current rear the abs light just popped on, so I pulled the cover and noticed the same damn thing. I've asked quite a few people and nobody knows what it is, also people that I've talked to who have blown their rears said they never had this problem. All of the rears have been completely replaced as whole units so no parts were interchanged or anything. My question is this what would shear the teeth off like this? My car is lowered and doesn't have relocation brackets and I know this can cause a lot of wheel hop which destroys your rear however I have never had problems with wheel hop. Give me some input guys, thanks.

Did you consider posting this in "Drivetrain"?

Are you saying you rebuilt the same rear axle assembly two times, and the same problem happened, or each time you replaced the entire axle assembly? Not clear from your post.

Describe what you mean by "blown out"? Was there any evidence that the bearing cap on the side with the reluctor gear was "walking" or actually pulling out? That would seem to be the only way the reluctor gear could hit anything that would break the teeth off. Did you have a girdle with bearing cap preload bolts on it?

On my first rear it was the posi itself that blew out, springs were everywhere when I opened it up but the gears and everything else were fine. On the second it was the gears inside the actual posi that went, a few teeth were taken off. On my current one I couldn't find anything wrong other than the two plates that the springs in the posi sit between, one was slightly bent but I was able to bend it back. The same thing with the reluctor wheel too, several teeth were taken off and sitting on the magnet. Each rearend was completely replaced with a whole new unit, nothing at all was changed over. I was thinking that the abs sensor that goes in the top that takes the reading from the reluctor wheel may have been hitting as it has been used on each rear however when i pulled it everything looked fine minus a few metal shaving which were on it, apparently it's magnetized also and picked up a few from the rearend. When I disassemble both of the rear the bearing should no signs of wear or walking. Also no girdle was used just the stock cover.
