The budget has to be considered. Alternatively, how much power do you want to make? Who are you trying to beat, what's he got? But you have to start somewhere, with some kind of a goal. The advantage of the boost+N2O approach is that you can make big hp without a huge investment in heads/intake/valvetrain/giant blower and running a huge cam. A "basic" SC setup can pretty readily make in the 600rwhp range, and provided the rest of the components are up to it, you can add a couple of hundred hp nitrous shot. It's a little cheaper way to get there, but still far from cheap.

what kind of power #'s are you making ? what specific's .. i need 825 HP to take the cake (minimum)--Right now this is what i have .. 383 stroker Forged crank, Rods , diamond coated pistons .. I just cracked both heads 1000 miles into this engine doing nothing more than driving it .. the guy told me **** happens .. i wanted to kill instead i have BBB and American Express on the Guy .. so im into a rebuild -- This time correctly with the right components .. Am i close in going with CC306 cam , Trickflow heads , Holley 58mm TB (nitrous ports), ported manifold will stay 60 lb motron injectors.. what supercharger will yield the best #'s ? Where the hell do i start ? lol

825+ HP at the flywheel or RWHP? Might be easier to get there with a big, single turbo.

CC306 and blower is a bad combo....

In order for things to work efficiently the combo needs to be efficient. In other words things need to work well TOGETHER to maximize your efforts, otherwise your giong to leave alot lying on the table.

look into ATI prochargers
the P1SC, and D1SC are good units. You could also step it up and run the f1sc. I have a friend running a f1sc on a 04 SVT cobra with stock internals running 24PSI and hes at 822RWHP.Be sure to get a custom grind cam though
As for heads - i'd call up advanced induction or go to advancedinduction.com they have tons of people running forced induction combos with their heads and can point you in the right direction with heads/cam.

Another vote for a large, intercooled, single turbo setup (no spray).

Here's a whole page of people running FI applications (with some hp #'s and track times). Rich is even in there.

Old data but a nice site. A turbo might not be a bad way to go. I am just not a "fan" (pun) of them. Can't say why. Also, a turbo isn't going to launch a heavy car as well as nitrous unless it's coupled with an auto and a huge stall, which is teh suck for the street.
