Suggestions for setup
Hey guys,
I wanted to pick some big brains about my setup. I am curious to get feedback as far as what you would change to optimize my car. I really, really want to run 10.9's on the motor, I am not sure if that is going to happen. I did get 12.2's out of a Vortec 350 though so who knows.
377 (4.00x3.75), 12.13:1 compression, ported DART R series 220cc heads, billet roller 262/266@.050, .665/.625 before lash, 106LSA, Hooker Super Comp 1 7/8"/3.5" coll. headers, TH350 and a 4200 converter.
What would you guys change/ keep the same with the setup? I haven't selected pushrods yet, any preferences? Also, the heads require offset rocker arms. I have offset Harland Sharp rockers, do you think they will handle the spring pressure ok? Am I stuck running shaft mounts? Converter too tight?
