stumble at cruise speeds
problem is with my 383 carbed 91. it has a full msd ignition system w' 6al box. the car idles great, but from around 2200-2800 it has a miss in it that seems to be getting worse. once you get past 2800 or so it revs perfect just like it should. i have had the carb apart twice and put new float bowl, jet block, and bottom plate gaskets in it. i have also had the distributor apart and have everything perfect inside it. has anyone else come across a problem like this?? any and all help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

My 307 Stroker in my Monte acts the exact same way, started doing it recently. Plugs and wires check OK, distributor and HEI OK, haven't checked carb yet but I haven't touched it in a while so nothing should be changed. Curious as to what it is too...
Edit: It only does it at cruising speeds on the highway. I would probably say 2000-3000 RPM at a constant speed. Speeding up or slowing down will make it stop "missing" and it will run smooth again until a constant speed is once again reached.

This question is more suited for a regular tech section. I will move this over to 3rd Gen Tech, Thanks!
