i have a 87 t/a with a 383 carberated motor. we thought it had a miss and it still might but we pulled off the spark plugs to get top dead center of cylinder 1 and we turned it over. fuel was spraying out of every cylinder as it cranked over. pulled the carb off and fuel was sitting in the intake. what would cause this to happen?

 

Stuck float.

 

Yeah or a popped power valve (Holley carb).
