BTW, what's the normal weight of a stock wrist pin?

Some googling indicates that ~130 grams is normal.

Normal is 130-165 grams. depending on which ones you get. (at least for the ones I could find on summit for v8's)

Toying with the idea of merging these with 6.24 BME Aluminum rods on a 383 rebuild....

6.240 Rod length
2.225 Big end diameter
0.927 Small end diameter
