Single Plane intake manifold and cam numbers
Why on our cars is the exhaust side duration higher then the intake side? The exhaust side doesnt flow very well as it is, why add more air to it? The carburated motors i see for example are single plane intakes (LT1 is single plane) and an example of a cam would be 278/268 .602/.602 110LSA... Why on our cars is it higher for the exhaust?? could Joe Overton have stumbled upon this too and this is what his custom cams are?

being carbed has nothin to do with whether someone uses a reverse split or not, and im pretty sure most cams have larger exhaust duration for n/a setups.
