Seat pressure problems

Thx for the help.

I havent found any +0,050 locks?
should be 10deg and for 8mm valves.

Edit: found some in Manleys catalog.
Partnbr 13152-8 Bead loc .3110" =7,9mm valves cant fins any for 8mm????

The question is if they really would give me +0,050"? Maybe worth a try...

Borrowed a valve spring inst height tool and got:

47mm=1.85" -> 165lbs seat pressure and 380lbs open

or If I buy the manley +0.050" locks (and they really give me +0.050")

1.90" -> 146lbs seat pressure and 360lbs open.



What do you guys think?

Honestly 165/380 isn't too bad.

Rich is right. It's the open pressure that gets ya' not the seat pressure. Limit the open pressure to the low 400's and you'll be fine. If memory serves, I'm running 155 - 160 lb on the seat and about 420 open.
