Rebuild ?'s

Seems like in LT1 tech there isn't anyboby that wants to help me out so I came here.

This Christmas I am going to rebuild and mod my motor. I plan on doing an electric water pump, tb, cai, hooker lt's with spintech true duals, and a complete valvetrain. I am also going to have Lloyd Elliot port my heads (seems like nothing but good remarks on his work) and I will have a custom ground cam to match the flow #'s. I will occasionaly throw a 150 shot of nitrous on so I will be buying the summit forged rebuild kit.

Do you reccomend buying a forged crank and H or I beam rods because I am going to have nitrous. I also am not sure on what clutch to get. I have heard good and bad things about the Spec stage 3 clutch. It seems as long as its the new desing it will be ok. How long do you think this clutch will last with the power my motor will be making? I don't want to buy another clutch in a year. Thanks for all the help.

You've had the duplicate of this post on LT1 Tech for less than a day. Might want to wait a little longer. I would also suggest that you "stimulate" responses by phrasing the "topic" in a more descriptive way..... "Rebuild ?'s" isn't going to draw a lot of interest. I would also seperate the two topics you have in this post.... put the "H-Beam or I-beam", "Forged crank necessary" questions on LT1 Tech, and put the "Spec Stage 3 handle this power" question on "Drivetrain" forum.
