ram jet intake with aftermaket heads on an LT1?

I was looking at some EFI systems today and came across the ram jet for pre LT1 SBC when an interesting idea came to me. what if a guy was to buy one of those SBC ram jets and some aftermarket heads to use on an LT1? of course theres going to be some coolant passages needing matched up and other things i am probably not aware of. but now you wouldnt have to modify the ram jet intake to fit some decent 18* heads like you would an LT1 intake. this wouldnt an cheap upgrade but im just thinking out loud here and wondered if this is even a possible solution to putting some Brodix head on the LT1.

It can be done, it has been done. Mindgame has 18* heads on his engine. the cooling passages in the heads require some welding and some drilling but they'll work, cost for that isnt as much as you would assume. the only thing about 18* heads is you almost have to run shaft mount rockers as far as i know, and you have to have 18* pistons too. the other thing is standard lt1 header flange wont bolt up. and if you were going to go to the trouble of setting up something like that why not just fit up a super victor intake or something or even just scrap the whole damn lt1 all together. i've thought about it before but imho just not worth it to me. i know mindgame had the heads sitting around so that was easier for him to do than for most of us. obviously going with an ltx style intake with heads that are on that level will leave a lot of hp on the table imho. hope all that makes sense, its been a long day.
