Thanks guys, that helps a bunch.

I am going to have the front fenders bulged out at the rear of them to vent the hot air. Also a full body pan with venturi tunnels will be used to increase downforce, and the adjustable spoiler will help tune to get the happy medium between downforce and drag.

Ill keep the rad up in front unless I really need it, which i doubt it.

One thing though, for the front fenders, I wanna use carbon fiber to keep the weight really down, but do you think the enigne heat will kill them? Would insulating them with reflective material be helpful? The front valence panel, door skins, hood and rear decklid will be carbon fiber, and I would like to make the front fenders CF too just to help keep weight at 3000 lbs.

Why not post some links to pictures of this car (or one very close) so the rest of us can have a better idea about it. I mean, I've seen lots of 68 Camaros, but it helps to have something to look at when discussing body work, or at least I would think so

CF will live, if you manage to get things hot enough to hurt the fenders you'll have loads of other problems under the hood.

FWIW, I've said it before, CF isn't the best stuff for most bodyparts. When it comes down to it even cheap 'glass and resin will be as light (if done right) and probably more durable in the long run.

If it was me and I was looking for the optimum setup I'd probably us some woven roving for the main structure, with a layer of mat and even maybe veil on the outside surface, then assuming that you're keeping the basic stock structure, bond that to the original fender supports out of the steel fenders.
