I want to put an aftermarket cam,int and carb on an 94 lt-1. this will give me more control of a/f ratios and timing without having to have a pc tuning program. Will this mess the car up, what probably won't work after i do this ? And will i have any problems with the trans ?


I have tried to post this in the tech and programming section. no answers there so i thought i would try advanced tech ?

You will need to cut out the cowl area below the windshield for aircleaner and distributor clearance, which will also render your wipers inop. Depending on your choice of intake, you may need an after market hood for aircleaner clearance.
