Popped a Head Gasket weird deposits:Pics inside.

I posted this in the advance because Im nervous that I might have cracked something. I did pop the head gasket pretty bad due to a large amount of nitrous. Has anyone seen this before? Its not metal but seems like its antifreeze with some other material.

Are you running the orange antifreeze? Does it come off with a wire brush? Or is there stuff imbeded into the aluminum?

I would take them to your neighborhood machine shop. Have them disassembled and bead blasted. You'll be able to see if there are any potential cracks. The machinist can also Magnaflux to confirm any cracks. Have the heads pressure tested while it's at the machine shop.

Doing all of the above should cost less than $100 and will confirm without a doubt the condition of the heads. If they're good I'd have them milled slightly to ensure a perfect re-install.

Hope they're okay,
-Christian

Its just your dex cool. Why are you running that stuff anyway? havent you hurd the horror stories on what it does to radiators? Personally I run streight water with a lube additive. This way the car runs cooler and if a head gasket ever blows it will not take out my o2

Checking for cracks in aluminum is done with a zyglow die test. Pressure test up here per head was $40 on one I had done a few weeks ago.
