NEED HELP PLEASE!!! W/cross fire to fuel injection

Here is the deal, My pops has a 82 vette w/ crossfire injection. I have the complete top end off of a LT1 how hard is it to change to fuel injection??? What all do I have to do?

I also have a 1982 Corvette, I have been thinking about droping a LT1 in also.If you need information on different FI options and to see what other people stuck with the Crossfire set up are doing go to the link below, But do not expect to Find any LT1 or LS1 experts there.

There is also a company which has modified the LT1 intake to use on older SB but I have lost the link, you should be able to search the crossfire site and find it.

Converting the bottom half of a SBC to an LT1 will be a near impossibility. The Opti is on the front of an ltx block, and there is no provision for it on an SBC. The only logical route is to put an LTx short block under your top half. You will need to get the wiring right, which will be a PITA, and you'll have to switch to a HP fuel pump. Also, I don't think the Cease fire has a return line, which you need. Other than that, pretty straight forward.

Thanks for your help everyone. I am still workin on figuring all of this out. I was told that it is possible and I am damn determined on figuring it out. I appreciate all of the help that you have given me and all the input that anyone else has.
