Name this part
Do these look like the new retainer clips Comp is using in their current Comp R lifters? I found these in my oil pan during the oil change. Is this the problem people have been running into with them? It still runs great
.
Quarter is used as a size reference.
Sorry for the small phone camera pic.

Get the right spring's 130 seat and 300-350 nose, this is after break in as they will loose 15-25 lbs after a few heat cycles.Might look into the beehive springs by Comp.

i think they are ok in that respect.i don't have access to the spring info at the moment;but i bought the ones for the cam.i know they are comp's though.i'll probably try to post again when it come time for valve adjustment as i'm not sure about the "adjusting to comp r's thing"thank though

Re: Name this part
Since we're on the subject of Comp R's...
Are these lifters known to be noisier than most brands?
I'm thinking it may be the rocker arms (Pro Magnum)
I just setup a valve train on an LT1 using the baseline method and a feeler
gauge.
I have had two sets of roller rocks, Crane and Scorpion which were somewhat
loud; but these Comp R's w/ Pro Magnum are annoying.
Should I be concerned?
